Yorkville ES18P Description
The Yorkville ES18P active subwoofer continues the tradition of high-performance bass established by Yorkville’s flagship designs, now enhanced with more power and improved mobility. Each cabinet features a custom-designed 18-inch cast-frame woofer with a 4-inch voice coil, delivering tight, authoritative low-end projection suitable for large venues, outdoor events, and demanding mobile setups.
With 3200 watts of peak power (1600 watts program) per sub and a maximum SPL of 140 dB peak (134 dB continuous), this pair provides earth-moving bass capable of supporting full-range PA systems in touring and permanent installations. Three DSP-based voicing modes — Punchy, Smooth, and Deep — allow users to tailor the low-frequency response to match the venue and musical style.
Proprietary DSP-based limiters provide intelligent protection against clipping, over-excursion, and overheating, helping maintain clarity and long-term reliability. Adjustable high-frequency rolloff in 10 Hz steps from 80 Hz to 150 Hz ensures seamless integration with tops.
Built from 15 mm (5/8″) 11-ply Baltic birch with rugged internal bracing, the enclosure reduces resonance while increasing structural integrity. The car-friendly cabinet design is over 30% lighter than the ES21P, while integrated tilt-back wheels and six bar handles make loading and positioning significantly easier. Bluetooth® connectivity and a free iOS/Android control app provide convenient wireless subwoofer management.
